INFORMATION MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY (COMPUTING) ACHIEVEMENT STANDARDS

What teaching resources are you using for the level 1 Information Management and levels 2 & 3 Technology (computing) achievement standards?  Why spend time creating your own when they can be purchased at a reasonable cost?

We have written teaching notes and practice tests for the seven level 1 Information Management Achievement Standards, four of the level 2 Technology(computing) Achievement Standards, and four of the level 3 Achievement Standards.  A suggested Year 13 ICT year long course linking achievement standards 3.1, 3.2, 3.6 and 3.7 is also available free of charge, when you buy a level 3 assessment package.   The resources have been prepared by experienced teachers, and written for "Word".  Purchasers may freely photocopy each of the following resources for use within their school.  The resources have been recently updated to version 2, where appropriate.

We are also now offering Literacy Activities for level 1 Information Management courses. These consist of a range of activities to support understanding of literacy and word meanings.  All seven Achievement Standards at Level 1 are covered and each standard has 3-4 different activities.    These activities can be used to consolidate Achievement Standard classroom delivery; they are aimed at giving students a better understanding of the language requirements and terminology.  These units can be used as part of class practice, or used as lessons out of the classroom, and include Word meanings, Word finds, Crosswords, Fill the Gaps, Deciphering codes, Word scrambles and Cryptograms.
