Resources for "stood down" or "suspended" students (Years 9 - 11)
Resources
for "stood down" or "suspended" students (Years
9 - 11)
- PREVIEW
The resource has been organised into nine 3-day programmes - three programmes at
each of Year 9, 10 and 11 levels. Each
3-day programme contains plenty of work, the whole resource being nearly
300 pages in length, with self-marking answer sheets included for each set.
Also included are a set of "self-analysis questionnaires",
designed as write-on sheets. It is
envisaged that students could complete these and discuss their responses with a
staff member such as the guidance counsellor or their dean, before returning to
class.
The
programmes at each level are organised in this way:
Self-analysis questionnaires -
on a particular issue; suitable for students at any level
Sets A and B
- for "below average to
average" students
Set C
- for "average to above
average" students
The
self-analysis questionnaires cover issues such as fighting, assault, bullying,
offensive weapons, vandalism/graffiti, defiance, verbal abuse, cigarettes,
alcohol, drugs, theft, wagging/truancy, swearing, put-downs, disruptive
behaviour, touching other peoples' property, etc.
This
is a very practical and professionally presented product, written totally for
the New Zealand secondary school context by a current practitioner.
I can assure you that it is an excellent product.
We are offering this resource at $136 plus GST ($153). Please free to hit PREVIEW to see some sample pages.
